The course is based around the MOD configuration management competences and is recognised by the MOD quality licence scheme.

Establishing some form of control mechanism for projects, whether it be documentation or the actual equipment itself is a vital element of success.  Being able to track requirements throughout the acquisition process, identify, control and manage changes and to know the exact build state of equipment in services is a fundamental element of managing projects.
